This years Ice Cream Alliance show was a fantastic experience for all the team, we haven’t exhibited here since 2009 when we launched “Sno-Tubz’ to the Ice Cream Industry. In 2009 we won “Best Small Stand” and the prestigious “Best New Product” so we had a lot to live up-to this year. Trying to squeeze a full stand into the “Sno-Dub” proved challenging but just like a game of Tetris we managed to arrange it in such a way we only had to make one trip.

So we didn’t stress on the first day we decided to travel up on the Monday (the day  before the show) to get everything just how we wanted it – it was funny as most of our competitor’s stands had the professional builders in erecting professional master pieces. Then there was our stand … a converted catering unit – rocking an “Island Vibe” with Bamboo/Driftwood/Thatch as the materials. It wouldn’t of looked out of place on a island in the middle of the Pacific.

We demonstrated our Snow Cone range from the stand as this was specifically launched at the show for the Ice Cream Mobilers and smaller operators that need a smaller portion product with a lower retail price point – we also promoted our premium brands Hawaiian Ice and Sno-Tubz. There was always a massive crowd around our demonstration area, avidly watching the team make all three products.

Tom being awarded with the Best Small Stand at the Ice Cream Alliance Show 2015

After working flat out for three full days, it was very satisfying  to win “The Best Small Stand ” award for the second time. We believe that we won this solely on the vibe, buzz and general passion that came from our stand and certainly not the “Island Get Up” we had going ! 🙂 We are already making plans for next years stand … we’re now after the treble.. 🙂 Please click here to find out more about the ICA
